1. Who we are

EarnKart, Warangal, Telangana, India, is responsible for the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

2. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, mobile number, and password (stored only as a secure one-way hash — we never store your password in readable form).
• Delivery details: the addresses you save, and the map location you pick, so our delivery partner can reach you.
• Order history: what you ordered, when, and what you paid.
• Referral data: your referral code and the code of the person who referred you, to calculate rewards.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic device/browser information, used for security (for example, blocking repeated failed login attempts).
• Google sign-in (optional): if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We never receive your Google password.

3. Why we use it

• To create and manage your account.
• To process, pack, deliver, and invoice your orders.
• To calculate and pay referral rewards.
• To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
• To keep the Platform secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

4. Location data

If you allow it, we use your device location to help you set a delivery address accurately and to show your order on a live map while it is on the way. You can refuse location access and enter your address manually instead. Delivery partners' location is shared with you only while your order is in transit.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary:

• Delivery partners: your name, address, and phone number, so they can deliver your order.
• Sellers/vendors: the items in an order they are fulfilling.
• Service providers: our hosting provider, and map services used to display addresses.
• Authorities: where we are legally required to disclose information.

People in your referral network can see limited, non-sensitive information such as your name and the level at which you joined — never your password, address, or phone number.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and order records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, or tax requirements.

7. How we protect it

• The site is served over HTTPS, so data is encrypted in transit.
• Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes.
• Repeated failed login attempts are rate-limited to deter password guessing.
• Identity documents uploaded by vendors are not publicly accessible and can be viewed only by authorised staff.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take these measures seriously and review them regularly.

8. Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. It is set as HttpOnly and Secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong (you can edit your addresses in the app at any time);
• delete your account and personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.
